Research
The Center for Human and Planetary Health enables and drives solutions-oriented research that leads to real-world solutions for both human and ecosystem health. We do this by centering our work on a Theory of Change model, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and working closely with partners and community-members. Together with our partners, we conduct solutions-oriented research, provide research funding to innovative teams and PI's, support postdoctoral fellowships, and collaborate on projects that integrate the environment, health, and equity.
At Stanford, the majority of human and planetary health research centers around four focus areas: Climate and Health, Pollution and Health, Disease Ecology in a Changing World, and Food Systems, Health and the Environment.
