How We Work: From Science to Impact
The Center for Human and Planetary Health is focused on transforming research and education into meaningful real-world impact. In addition to robust research and education portfolios, we accelerate impact through outreach to stakeholders, strategic communications, enabling collaboration, and co-designing community-engaged solutions. We help Stanford researchers move their evidence to impact by convening key stakeholders, and crafting foundational policy recommendations and strategic communications materials. Additionally, some of our partners provide opportunities for advancing human and planetary health through impact entrepreneurship and medical education.

This opportunity is open to students with preference given to those enrolled in the Notation in Science Communication and Master’s in Environmental Communication programs. LEARN MORE →
Human and Planetary Health Working Groups
Working groups organized by the Center for Human and Planetary Health draw together experts across Stanford to advance common research and impact goals. These working groups, led by Stanford community members, bring together multiple disciplines to identify pressing challenges and advance research, development, policy, or innovation. Our current working groups include: Plastics and Health and Food Systems, Health, and the Environment.
